The curtain of 2017 Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture rises on December 15, 2017 and the official opening day is on December 16. The Biennale, themed as "Cities, Grow in Difference", is co-curated by curators, critic Hou Hanru, founding partners of URBANUS, architects Liu Xiaodu and Meng Yan. The project "New Youth Community" of META-Project is presented here.

The Cracow 2018 International Experimental Architecture Biennale ‘Localized Modernism-Contemporary Chinese Architecture’ is held during 12th October 2017 – 7th January 2018 at the Manggha Museum. During October 28 - October 30, Wang Shuo also participates in Aranya 2017 Forum "Fan"- New Thinking and New Experiments of Achitecture, which is co-held by World Architecture and Aranya Forum. This forum, themed as "Architecture: from everyone, for everyone", invites global influential achitects, scholars by the seaside to explore a future-oriented living ideal.

Taikang Space 2017 Fall Group Exhibition, “Building Issues” is open to the public during October 28- December 9.
“Building Issues” aims to present an alternative perspective, by focusing on the architecture and thoughts provoked pertinent to this issue. This Exhibition is co-curated by one of the participating artists, Wang Shuo, and Su Wenxiang, curator of Taikang Space. The other young architects and urban researchers are Dai Pu, Li Danfeng, Li Han, Li Hao, Yin Yjun, Zhou Jianjia and Zhu Qipeng.
Water Tower Renovation Exhibits at Shanghai Urban Space Art Season

On October 15, 2017, the curtain of Shanghai Urban Space Art Season officially rises in the 80,000,000 kg silos of Min Sheng Dock. The exhibition "thisCONNECTION-Sharing a Future Public Space" is co-curated by the famous Italian achitecture designer, Stefano Boeri, and Xiangning Li, the professor of Architecture and City Planning School of Tongji University, and Ningzhen Fang, the famous Chinese-Japanese artist. There are almost 200 famous curators of exhibitions, planners, achitects and artists participating this exhibition. The Water Tower Renovation curated by META-Project is also exhibited here.

After winning the WA Chinese Architecture Award - WA Housing Award, and also 2016 A+Architizer Finalists Award(Multi Unit Housing - Mid Rise ,Low Cost Housing ),2016 WAN Residential Award Long list. The New Youth Commune project has been shortlisted in 2017 WAF Awards-Housing Award. The winners will be announced during 2017 World Architecture Festival in Berlin on November 17th this year.

New Youth Commune wins WA Chinese Architecture Award - WA Housing Award

On November 16-17, 2016, the 2016 WA China Architecture Awards Review Meeting was held in Beijing. New Youth Commune stood out from the participating projects to won the 2016 WA Housing Awards -Highly Recommended, and finalisted in WA Design Experiment Award and the WA Social Equality Award.
World Architecture Awards for Chinese Architecture (WAACA) was established by World Architecture Magazine in 2002 and is assessed every two years. As a Chinese independent architecture award with important international influence, WAACA has always insisted on exploring, promoting and propagating built works that are closely related to China's national conditions and provide enlightening references to global architectural culture, to promote the creative response of Chinese built space towards people's aspirations for a better life, and increase the world's understanding and respect for Chinese architecture.
